PT Meitech Eka Bintan (MEB) adalah perusahaan integrated steel and module fabrication. Sederhananya, perusahaan ini memiliki fasilitas untuk membuat dan merakit struktur baja berukuran besar yang kemudian digunakan dalam proyek migas, energi, dan petrokimia.

Perusahaan menyebut dirinya sebagai salah satu integrated steel and module fabricator di Indonesia untuk industri Oil & Gas, Energy, dan Petrochemical. MEB mulai berdiri pada sekitar 2014, dan operasional fabrikasinya berkembang melalui peningkatan fasilitas yard. Pada 2019, perusahaan mengerjakan fabrikasi 75 pipe-rack modules untuk proyek ekspansi BP Tangguh.

Bidang utamanya adalah fabrikasi konstruksi baja berat dan modul industri. Berbeda dengan perusahaan manufaktur yang membuat produk untuk konsumen seperti makanan, elektronik, atau pakaian, MEB lebih banyak mengerjakan proyek B2B berskala besar.

Menurut informasi perusahaan, area fabrikasinya sekitar 46 hektare, dengan kapasitas throughput hingga sekitar 40.000 ton per tahun. Perusahaan juga memiliki jetty sepanjang 200 meter untuk kapal hingga sekitar 10.000 DWT, dengan kedalaman air sekitar 8–12 meter.

Fasilitas tersebut memungkinkan struktur yang sangat besar dibuat di Bintan kemudian dikirim melalui laut menuju lokasi proyek. Perusahaan juga menyebut memiliki: fabrication workshop, warehouse, heavy equipment, area assembly, fasilitas erection, office, accommodation, HRD, clinic, jetty, area lay-down.

ENGINEERING COORDINATOR

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, fabrication, or offshore engineering projects.
• Proven experience in Engineering Document Management, including Document Register and document status tracking aligned with project schedules.
• Strong understanding of Jacket and Topside engineering and the application of engineering requirements to fabrication, construction, and installation activities.
• Ability to establish engineering document priorities and prepare 2-week look-ahead plans based on project requirements and construction sequence.
• Strong technical problem-solving and risk mitigation skills, particularly in managing engineering design/document delays and their impact on project progress.
• Experienced in coordinating with Engineering, Production, Yard, cross-functional teams, and Clients.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
• Disciplined, team-oriented, and able to work effectively under project-driven targets and deadlines.

METHOD DESIGNER

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, fabrication, construction, or heavy industry.
• Experienced in Engineering Method, shop drawing, erection, lifting, and installation planning.
• Able to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Proficient in design/drafting software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Tekla.
• Familiar with fabrication, construction, and installation processes in engineering projects.
• Able to prepare and manage Engineering Method documents in accordance with project schedules and technical requirements.
• Good technical communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

METHOD ENGINEER

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a method engineer in oil & gas or fabrications projects.
• Ability to prepare structure MTO for design and construction
• Ability to operate structure software such as SACS, ANSYS, MOSES, etc
• Proficient in preparing procedures for Method statements, Lifting analysis, Load out.
• Familiar with international codes for structure and load-out/Lifting includin construction. design,
• Have good communication and team work.
• experience in the oil & gas industry is highly preferred
